Alterna Jars and Blades for Blendtec

The Alterna jar is engineered and patent pending together with it proprietary replaceable and sharpened multi-purpose blade cutting unit blending assembly specifically for the following Blendtec Blenders - see below. We have elongated the base on the jar to allow room for the bottom plate so you can tighten down and/or screw the plate onto the blade unit thread and fasten the blade assembly securely.

The patents pending super high-tech engineered jar devours its raw vegetable (broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, cabbage,...) and fruit ingredients, berries and seeds, grinds up nuts and grains, corn and avocado pits (if you must), pulverizes ice cubes into snow, blends hot soup, and a grand variety of smoothies, desserts, pastes, butters, sauces, and any other concoction that your hear delights in. Minimum blending size 16 ounces.

Dimensions are 9 inches tall, fits into a 9 x 7 x 7 inches box, weighs 2.00 lbs pounds with blade assembly and lid, and is made from the most durable Co-Polyester material supplied by Eastman Tritan(TM), which is BPA-FREE food grade type. The jar is stackable; volume size 80 ounces / 2.5 liters / 10 cups.

The Blendtec lids fit the Alterna jar as well and the Alterna lid fits Blendtec jars. Blender operators who have a Blendtec blender and jars and want to change jars or add an 80 ounces jar with the versatility for replacement blending assembly cutting units, can use their Blendtec lids if that is their desire.

The Blendtec blenders are very powerful and handle the Alterna Jar very efficiently for a very smooth and fine blend smoothie texture, or whatever you are making with your high performance blender.

The beauty of the Alterna jar is that you can keep using the jar if you happen to switch blender brands such as from Blendtec to Vitamix or to Waring or JTC Omni Blender. Hint: just swap out the blade unit for the appropriate blending assembly and knives. The Blendtec blenders turn right - clockwise and the blades are not sharp. JTC Omni, and Waring blenders turn left - counter clockwise. The Alterna blades are very sharp and there are 6 knives.
